How To: Teach Your Child To Read

In this self-paced course, you will learn the tips and tricks I use with my students when implementing, Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. You will be taught the definition of direct instruction and how it uses the science of reading at its core, how to make lessons engaging, and what you can do as substitute lessons. You will be given useful websites that can be used in conjunction with this book as supplemental support. You will be shown useful manipulatives that students love, games that can be played during or after the lessons, and how to correctly say letter sounds. It is the hope that this program helps educators and parents gain the confidence they need to teach children or students how to read.
